Key to the neotropic
Stenus
with unmargined abdomen and bilobed tarsi
(FB = forebody; S= sternum; T= tergum)
Some characters, which are useful for identification (f. e. the shape of the posterior outline of tergum 10), occur in different (tentatively) monophyletic groups. Species, which share such characters are found in this key under the name "mixed groups" and within this groups with indication to which (tentatively) monophyletic group the respective species belongs.
