Holotype male, total length 3.10mm ; cephalothorax length 1.40mm , width 1.20mm ; abdomen length 1.60mm , width 1.10mm ; allotype female, total length 3.50mm ; cephalothorax length 1.50mm , width 1.15mm ; abdomen length 2.35mm , width 1.50mm ; paratype male, total length 2.90mm ; cephalothorax length 1.40mm , width 1.10mm ; abdomen length 1.50mm , width 1.10mm . Carapace. Red to dark reddish brown, longer than wide, ovoid with thoracic area broader than the cephalic. Chelicerae yellow with gray tinge, 1.88 x longer than wide. Promargin with four teeth and retromargin with three small teeth. Pedipalps brownish yellow with dark brown cymbium. Maxillae yellow, 2 x longer than wide, apex prominently broad and expanded prolaterally. Labium dark yellow, with rebordered apical one-third light yellow and triangular. Sternum yellow with a gray medium longitudinal band, as long as wide, anteriorly subtruncate and posterior end narrowly rounded. Eyes. AER strongly recurved, slightly shorter than the straight to slightly recurved PER ; inner margins of PER and ME black, median ocular quadrangle as long as wide. Eye diameter (mm): AME=PME ( 0.09 )> ALE = PLE ( 0.07 ). Eye separation (mm): PME-PLE ( 0.16 )> AME-ALE ( 0.10 )> AME-AME = PME-PME ( 0.08 ). Clypeus height a little wider than one AME diameter. Legs. Yellow brown except blackish brown femora 1, 2 and apical half of 3 and 4 ; tibia 1 spination (d-v-p-r) 1 -l- 4 -0, longest prolateral spine half the length of tibia 1 . Leg formula 1423 . Abdomen. Oblongate, black with white median and lateral spots, posterior end with or without a pair of small humps. Paratype male has a white cross median band and paratype females with a median white longitudinal band aborted before posterior humps and white lateral bands, in cases of lateral bands interrupted, four white spots on each side present. Posterior end of female abdomen blunt and subtruncate in some paratype females. Palpal organ with a long, slender and strongly curved tip of median apophysis; paracymbium oblique and rounded at tip; palpal scale indistinct; femur has three ( 1-2 ) dorsal spines; patella with two very long dorsal spines subequal in length. FEMALE. Similar to male except for more robust body size and simple spination in tibia I. Posterior end of abdomen usually blunt and subtruncate with humps visible viewed posterolaterally. Eye diameter (mm): PME ( 0.10 )> ALE = PLE ( 0.063 )> AME ( 0.06 ). Eye separation (mm): PME-PLE ( 0.17 )> AME-ALE ( 0.11 )> AME- AME ( 0.08 )> PME-PLE ( 0.06 ). Clypeus height 3.16 x AME diameter. Epigynum wider than long, slightly protruded underneath abdomen; spermathecae ovoid converging apically and inner tip of fertilization tube truncated. Material Examined. Holotype male (coll. no. DAP 3 a), allotype female (coll. no. DAP 3 b), paratypes male and female (coll. no. DAP 19 ), CHINA , Hainan Island, Dapo, Dapo village, 25 March- 9 April 2011 , ATBarrion, JLACatindig & SCVillareal; Paratypes : 1 male , 2 females and 3 subadult males (coll. no. Diagnostic Features . This new species closely resembles Hyposinga sanguinea (C.Koch, 1845 ) but differs from the latter in the following features, namely, ( 1 ) possessing long and slender median apophysis strongly curved to partly sinuate at tip, ( 2 ) different markings on the abdomen, ( 3 ) obliquely rounded tip of paracymbium, ( 4 ) absence of palpal scales, ( 5 ) spination and length of spines in tibia I, and ( 6 ) epigynum with a pair of converging oblongate spermathecae.
