Diagnosis
Less transverse than other
guttatus
-group species. Background brick red to nearly black, pale marks pale yellow to orange-red. Pronotum with sides weakly convex and less transverse. Interstices of elytron with pale dilated and raised areas bearing setal tufts; 3rd at base and apex, 5th at apex, 7th at middle, basally, and a minute tuft apically. Humeri pale, margin of elytron weakly explanate,
