Chrysina ohausi (Franz) [new combination by Hawks 2001 : 8]. Distribution. PANAMA ( Franz 1928 , Ohaus 1934b , Blackwelder 1944 , Machatschke 1972 , Moron 1990 , Curoe 2001 , Ratcliffe 2002 , Krajcik 2008 ). Remarks. Chrysina ohausi (Franz) was known only from a single holotype female described from "Panama" and the holotype is apparently lost ( Moron 1990 ; Curoe 2001 ). It is possible that C. ohausi (Franz) is a junior synonym of C. batesi (Boucard) based on the description of C. ohausi (Franz) and comparisons with other Chrysina species from Panama ( Curoe 2001 ).
