Reticulolaelaps faini
was described as the
type
species of
Reticulolaelaps
by Costa (1968) without referring to the leg chaetotaxy. Our specimens show that the chaetotaxy of all leg segments in the female and male is normal for the free-living
Laelapidae (Evans & Till 1965)
.
