Unmeasured males and females, USNM 1081601, USNM 1081602, JLB Haw 6, JLB Haw 10, MNRJ –8566. Diagnosis based on description by Thomas & Klebba (2006) . Diagnosis. Quadrate anterodistal head margin with cusp. Coxae 1–4 with cuspate anterior and distal margins. Gnathopod 1 carpus narrow, attenuate. Coxa 4 anterodistal margin sharp. Pereopods 5–7 bases narrowly expanded. Epimera 2, 3 ventral margins serrate. Note. Barnard’s descriptions of Leucothoe tridens (1965, 1970, 1971) agree closely with L. kensleyi . Material borrowed from C. Serejo collected in Brazil also closely agrees with L. kensleyi . Female (sexually dimorphic characters). Gnathopod 2 propodus with single mediofacial setal row. Habitat. Coral reefs; 1–20 m . Host. Sponges: Callyspongia vaginalis , Iotrochota birotulata , and Pseudoceratina crassa . Distribution. Western Atlantic Ocean: South Florida and the Florida Keys ( Thomas & Klebba 2007 ), Brazil ( Schellenberg 1938e ; Serejo 1998 ). Caribbean Sea: Belize ( Thomas & Klebba 2007 ), Panama ( White 2011 ). Pacific Ocean: Hawaii, Oahu (J.L. Barnard 1965 ; J.L. Barnard 1970 ; J.L. Barnard 1971b ).
