Diagnosis: Pronotum (Figs. 10a–d) with large and sharp tubercles; prozona high, its lobes very distinct, incisions between the lobes deep; lateral projections of mesozona very distinct; metazona broad, its tubercles large and reaching beyond lateral margin of metazona in some specimens, lateral margins straight, hind margin angular; male tegmina (Figs. 10a, c, e) very short, reaching to 3th–4th abdominal tergites; axillary 1 vein of hind wing indistinct, touching to axillary 2 in several points and fused to it in distal part, rarely axillary 1 and 2 separated; distal excision of dorsal carina of hind femur distinct, its ventral carina clearly wavy; inner side of hind femur dark red, darkened with violet or dar blue, ventral and apical parts red; inner side of hind tibia dark red; male penis valves (Figs. 10g , h) stout apically, their apices strongly curved upwards in lateral view, widened in posterior view; lophi (Fig. 10i) with nearly 20 dense spines, posterior margin of epiphallus (Fig. 10i) with a slight rounded projection. This species is most related to G. escherichi inermis . It is differs from it in the following: the shape of the pronotum which bears more distinct and large tubercles, the shape of prozona with distinct lobes, mesozona with distinct lateral projections and the dark coloration of hind legs. It differs from G. escherichi escherichi with the pronotum with more tubercles, shorter male tegmina, indistinct axillary 1 vein, darker coloration of hind legs. FIGURE 9. Glyphotmethis sevketi : a, male pronotum, tegmina and hind wing from above; b, female pronotum and tegmina from above; c, male pronotum and tegmen, lateral view; d, female pronotum and tegmen, lateral view; e, male lateral view; f, female lateral view; g, apical valves of penis and cingulum, lateral view; h, ditto posterior view; i, epiphallus. Scales 1 mm. Distribution: ( Fig. 15 ). Turkey : Çorum , S of Çankırı , N of Kırıkkale . Remarks: The collection date of the type specimens, given as 1931 in Ramme, 1951 , was corrected by Cejchan (1965: 474) as 1932. This species is similar to G. escherichi inermis in the very short male tegmina, veinlets of hind wing, the shape of metazona except its tubercles and its distributional area. However, it was not found in the same habitat with inermis . Therefore, it can be also concluded that it is an ecological form of inermis . On the other hand, the specimens collected from different localities are quite similar and the differences given above are clear. It is, therefore, given as an independent species for the present. In future, it should be re-evaluated in the light of new data.
