Diagnosis.
The new species can be distinguished by the forewing having two discocellular stigmata, the irregularly circled juxta arched outward lateromedially, and produced postero- and anteromedially, and the aedeagus with a large sub-triangular sclerite from about distal 1/4 reaching near apex.
Description.
Adult (
Fig. 9
). Wingspan
13.5 mm
.
Head
whitish yellow. Labial palpus yellow, with black scales on outer surface. Antenna yellow; scape with black scales and flagellum ringed with black on dorsal surface.
Thorax
and tegula black basally, yellow distally. Forewing yellow, with yellowish brown scales; costal margin with a wide black band along basal 1/3, with a large semicircular black spot at middle and two–three black dots in distal 1/3; discal, discocellular and plical stigmata black, discocellular stigmata doubled, placed one above the other; terminal dots black, evenly spaced along termen to tornus; fringe grey along termen and dorsum. Hindwing and fringe grey. Legs yellow; coxa of foreleg black on ventral surface; on dorsal surface, femur and tibia of foreleg black, tibia of midleg black, with yellow streak at basal 1/3, at middle and at apex, tarsi of fore- and midlegs black at middle of first tarsomere and at base of second tarsomere as well as on entire third and fourth tarsomeres, femur of hindleg with black scales; on outer surface, tibia of hindleg with black scales at base and on distal half, tarsus black at middle of first tarsomere and at base of second tarsomere.
Male genitalia
(
Fig. 21
). Uncus elongate triangular, narrowed from wide base to pointed apex, with a seta at middle laterally. Gnathos membranous, ventral plate indistinct. Tegumen uniformly wide medially, with a large Vshaped anterior emargination; lateral arms slightly narrowed to apex, longer than median width. Valva with costal and ventral margins subparallel, apex obtusely rounded, with a tuft of stout long setae at basal 1/3 above ventral margin; costa uniformly banded, reaching tip of costal margin; transtilla lobes uniformly banded, joined mesially by membrane; sacculus triangular, more sclerotized apically. Saccus wide at base, narrowed to basal 1/3, distal 2/3 clubbed, with a small elliptical membranous lobe apically. Juxta a large irregular circle, arched outward laterally, produced postero- and anteromedially. Aedeagus about 3/4 length of valva, tapered to pointed apex; banded process extending from before laterobasal 1/3 to middle length of aedeagus, then fused and produced to a triangular process distally; large sub-triangular sclerite from about distal 1/4 reaching near apex, with a tooth at each angle.
Female unknown.
Distribution.

Etymology.
The specific epithet is derived from the Latin

, referring to the black spots on the forewing.
