Glaucocharis incisella ( Bleszynski, 1970 ) can be distinguished from its congeners by the sacculus ending with two narrow protuberances in the male genitalia; the ductus bursae medially protuberant to one side, and anteriorly with a small semicircular protuberance in the female genitalia. Description. Adult forewing length 4.0–5.0 mm. Female genitalia ( Fig. 27 ). Papilla analis ovate, slightly concave posteriorly, about one third length of apophysis posterioris. Tergite eight slightly shorter than apophysis anterioris, densely covered with tiny spines. Ductus bursae medially protuberant to one side, anteriorly with a small semicircular protuberance. Ductus seminalis arising from anterior one fourth of ductus bursae. Corpus bursae rounded; signum rounded, placed at posterior one fifth of corpus bursae. Distribution. China (Hainan, Tibet), Sri Lanka . Remarks. This species is newly recorded for China , with female described for the first time. Wang et al. (1988) described and figured the adult, and Bleszynski (1970) described and figured the male genitalia.
