DISTRIBUTION .— This species ranges from southwestern Cameroon and Gabon to Democratic Republic of Congo and Republic of Congo . In Equatorial Guinea , it was recorded from Río Muni by Boulenger (1899a) ( Map 18A ). COMMENTS .— Since Boulenger (1899 a , 1900) no specimens of this species have been recorded. SPECIMENS EXAMINED .— No specimens of this taxon were found in the collections examined by us in this study.
