Body not large (length up to 12 mm ) shining. Temples with groove in anterior part Hypomera with distinct longitudinal wrinkles and without punctation. Elytra with small distinct sparse tubercles apically and laterally. Epipleura and their inner narrow carina not reaching sutural angle of elytra, 8th elytral interval weakly convex and connected with margin of elytra. Dorsal elitral carina not reaching apex of elytra. Wings small, less than half of elytral length. Abdominal ventrites. Male abdominal ventrites 1 and 2 often with hair brush. Anal ventrite without depression in both sexes. Legs . Male pro-, mesotibia with distinct teeth, metatibiae sometimes with granules. Femora smooth and shining on inner side. Each trochanter can be with hair brush or one long seta. Male genitalia . Apical piece weakly thickened in basal 2/3 (lateral view), without dorsal longitudinal depression, weakly S-shaped (lateral view). Basal piece 1.7 × as long as apical piece. Median lobe baculi not merged, acute on apex. Gastral spicula with narrow, weakly bent branches. Male inner sternite VIII wide, with rounded apices, dense punctation and short setaetion on inner side and dense pubescence on apices. Distribution. North-western Turkey , the Balkans, Northern Iran ( Gilan ). Composition. At least O. protina , O. operta , O. exarata .
