Taxonomic studies on Palaearctic and Oriental Eudorylini (Diptera: Pipunculidae), with the description of three new species Author Kehlmaier, Christian text Zootaxa 2005 2005-08-08 1030 1 1 48 https://biotaxa.org/Zootaxa/article/view/zootaxa.1030.1.1 journal article 10.11646/zootaxa.1030.1.1 11755334 5050289 573150F2-200A-4551-8A09-4C8FA6E89564 Clistoabdominalis subruralis (Kozánek & Kwon, 1991) comb. nov. Eudorylas subruralis Kozánek & Kwon, 1991a: 162 Material studied North Korea 1♂ ( holotype ), Ryongaksan Mountains , 10km W of P’y ngyang, 14.V.1988 , leg. M. Kozánek , coll. SNMB ( Type No. 701) ; P. R. China 1♂ , Fragrant Hill Park , West Mountains Nat. Reserves , 40km NW Beijing , rock/creek shore, 1.VII.1992 , leg. L. Papp , coll. HNHM . Discussion From the detailed drawings of the male genitalia included in the original description ( Kozánek & Kwon 1991a ) and the study of the holotype , the taxon is transferred to the genus Clistoabdominalis ( Cli. subruralis Kozánek & Kwon, 1991 ) comb. nov. ). Although lacking any ventral projection of syntergosternite 8, the species seems to be allied to the European members of the electus species group as outlined in Kehlmaier (2005) . The figures provided by Kozánek & Kwon (1991a) should allow an unambiguous identification of this taxon. Cli. subruralis has been recorded from North Korea and the Peoples Republic of China in the past.
