Oldenburg, Varrelgraben, Varrelbach, Koen. leg. 11.4.1906 ". Discussion: Morphology of the gnathosomal rostrum and palps suggest that T. maglioi is a junior synonym of T. brevirostris . The holotype is a young female, with the atypical idiosoma proportions frequently found in faintly sclerotized specimens. In most later published records of T. maglioi attention was paid exclusively to idiosoma morphology, erroneously considering incomplete sclerite development as a diagnostic character, and making no, or little, reference to gnathosoma morphology. In view of both, the general problem of basing species definitions on females, and the fact that records under this name may refer to various different species, we consider T. maglioi a species incerta .
