Punctulata palliptera can be distinguished from its congeners by the saccus widened apically ( Fig. 15 ). It is similar to P. novipalliptera Wang , sp. nov. , and the differences between them are stated under P. novipalliptera . Description. Adult ( Fig. 8 ) with wingspan 12.5–15.0 mm. Body color and forewing pattern in female same as those in male. Female genitalia ( Fig. 17 ). Papillae anales setose, rounded on caudal margin. Apophyses anteriores about 5/8 length of apophyses posteriores. Antrum cup-shaped. Ductus bursae membranous, posterior 2/5 narrow, anterior 3/5 slightly inflated, with a sclerite bearing numerous teeth; ductus seminalis from posterior 2/5. Corpus bursae elliptical, about same length as ductus bursae, spiculate partially; signum near entrance of corpus bursae, with two long spines curved before pointed apex. Distribution. China ( Chongqing , Guizhou , Henan , Zhejiang ). Notes. The female of this species is described for the first time.
