Diagnosis.
Pselaphomorphus melanus
is characterized by the combination of filiform antennae without clava, and a dark brown coloration with bright yellow pilosity.
Description. Male.

. Humeral teeth present. Sutural and basal discal fovea present and evident, framed by basal carina. Sutural stria present. Abdominal segments I–V dorsally with length as follows: 0.4, 0.2, 0.15, 0.2, 0.1 (mm). Ventrally, segment V distally round, segment VI with elongate depression, pygidial suture present.
Genitalia.
Phallobase regular, bilobed. Median lobe straight in lateral view, not going upward. Apical end membranous. Medially with small spine projected to left. Accessory lobes absent (

Etymology.
The name refers to the darker color of the body, from Greak
melanos
meaning ‘black’.
