All Micronychus species can be distinguished from other calochromine genera by the sclerotized rodshaped internal sac ( Figs 4, 5 ) and a relatively long antennomere 3 compared to Parantis Motyka et al . 2017 species ( Fig. 3 ). Most Micronychus have a characteristic shape of the pronotum (compare Figs 7 and 8 ; Motyka et al . 2018 ).
