(St. Paulo and Toungas de la Paz, Bolivia ) REMARKS. One of the species of Carineta with infuscation on the apical cells of the wings. It can be distinguished from all the other species except C. lydiae Champanhet, 1999 by the infuscation being found on the apical cells of both fore wing and hind wings along with distal anal cell 3 of the hind wing. It can be distinguished from C. lydiae by the lateral angles of the pronotum being much wider than the mesonotum and angled mediad at a greater acute angle, more triangular head, and much greater piceous markings on the mesothorax of C. boliviana . DISTRIBUTION. The species has been reported from Bolivia , Ecuador , and Peru ( Metcalf 1963c ).
