Specimen Data. COLOMBIA . Santander . Ƥ, Lebrija, IX.1977 , A. Martinez, McPhail Trap (CTNI). This species was described recently by Norrbom & Korytkowski (2009) from Ecuador and Brazil . The examined specimen differs from the types because of its paler colour pattern; the extension from the base of the S-band in the middle of cell cu1 is weak and apparently is not connected with the V band. These specimen could be teneral and it explain the wing color differences. The spiracles of the oviscape on Colombian specimen are at the basal 0.98 mm . Additional characters for the Colombian specimen include: Head : 1.14 mm long, 2.14 mm high, 1.41 mm wide. 3-4 frontal setae (3 on right side, 4 on left). Antenna 0.76 mm long, 0.20 mm wide, arista pubescent. Thorax : 4.05 mm long, 2.82 mm wide. Wing (Fig 1. D): 9.0 mm long, 3.73 mm wide. Female terminalia : Oviscape 1.97 mm long. Spiracle at basal 0.98 mm .
