This species was described recently by
Norrbom & Korytkowski (2009)
from
Ecuador
and
Brazil
. The examined specimen differs from the
types
because of its paler colour pattern; the extension from the base of the S-band in the middle of cell cu1 is weak and apparently is not connected with the V band. These specimen could be teneral and it explain the wing color differences. The spiracles of the oviscape on Colombian specimen are at the basal
