Distribution: —N Pakistan , Jammu & Kashmir, M Yarlung Zangbo, L Yarlung Zangbo, Tangut, S Hengduan, N Hengduan. Note: —This species is widely distributed across North America and Eurasia ( Chen et al . 1992 ). It is highly variable particularly in plant stature. In the eastern Pan-Himalaya, plants of Epilobium palustre vary greatly in size. In the high elevations, plants are often shorter.
