Female: 1, antenna; 2, mesosoma and TI of gaster, arrow points to glandular area. Comments. This is a well-known species, widely distributed in the Palaearctic region, and Ethiopia and India . It is newly recorded from Saudi Arabia . We give here figures of the antenna and the mesosoma with TI attached ( Figs 1 and 2 ). In the Saudi specimens, the ‘glands’ on TI and TV of gaster are present ( Fig. 2 ) as in the Indian specimens ( Hayat 2006: fig. 771 ).
