This is a well-known parasitoid of aphids ( Hemiptera : Aphidoidea), and has been dealt with by several authors ( Mercet 1921 ; De Santis 1964 ; Hayat 2006 , to cite only three references). A few figures are given here to aid in its recognition ( Figs 130–132 ). Syrphophagus aphidivorus is a widely distributed species, and is newly recorded from Saudi Arabia .
