Comments.
This is a well-known parasitoid of aphids (
Hemiptera
: Aphidoidea), and has been dealt with by several authors (
Mercet 1921

Syrphophagus aphidivorus
is a widely distributed species, and is newly recorded from
Saudi
Arabia
.
