Distribution : from the Indian Himalayas region, throughout Nepal , Bhutan , South China , Bangladesh , Burma , Philippines to Indonesia ( Sumatera , Jawa , Lesser Sunda Islands ) Collections : Timor-Leste : Mount Perdido (ascent of Ossu), Rainforest , van Steenis 18322 , 23 Dec 1953 ( LISC ) ; Mount Paitxau Range , near Malahara, Cowie 11020 , 28 Feb 2006 (DNA photo!, L!) . Notes : Although there are some differences in size and shape of the leaves, it is possible that both these specimens belong to the same species.
