Distribution: China ( Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region); Kazakhstan . Remarks: Jashenko & Rochshektayeva (2014) reported P. violaceae Matesova & Jashenko from Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. Jashenko (1990) provided a description and illustration of the adult female and male, and the first-instar nymph; Vahedi & Hodgson (2007) described the adult female. Specimens of P. violaceae have not been seen in this study.
