Remark
. The freshly collected specimens (
Figs 3, 4
) have an intense green suffusion on the forewings while the
type
specimens of
I. balinti
(
Figs 1, 2
) almost lack a green suffusion probably due to degrading of the green pigment caused by using a conserving chemical (paradichlore) during the transporting of the material collected.
Distribution
and Bionomics. The species is currently known only from two localities in the Tien Shan mountain massif (
Fig. 9
). The species inhabits rocky mountain tundra at altitudes above
3500m
(
Fig. 10
). Preimaginal stages are unknown.
