Crenitis zimmermanni Knisch, 1924 Previously reported from the Western and Northern Cape provinces ( Bilton 2014a ), this appears to be the most abundant Crenitis during spring in these regions. A brackish-water species. Site 3. Berosus pudens J. Balfour-Browne, 1954 A relatively widespread South African endemic. Site 1. * Enochrus hartmanni Hebauer, 1998 Described from the Western Cape Province . Sites 1, 5–7 &12. Helochares dilutus (Erichson, 1843) A widespread Afrotropical species.
