Head with eye moderately large; malar carina indistinct; inner edges of eyes strongly convex, maximum interocular distance (on vertex) at least 2.5–3.0× as great as minimum distance (at mid-length of face); antennal scrobe deep, margin carinate, widely separated from eye (

); vertex and frons minutely coriaceous, lower frons striate; ocelli small with POL and LOD respectively 0.7–0.9× and 0.7× as long as OOL (
