Note: Patzak & Rechinger (in Rechinger, Fl. Iranica 15: 5. 1965) indicated unspecified material in LINN as the type. However, the only material linked with this name is sheet 144.24, but this collection lacks the relevant Species Plantarum number (i.e. "12" ) and was a post-1753 addition to the herbarium, and is not original material for the name.
