No material available for examination. Diagnosis based on description by Stebbing (1888). Diagnosis (female). Truncate anterior head margin; quadrate anterodistal margin with a cusp. Gnathopod 1 coxa with serrate anterior margin; dactylus short. Gnathopod 2 basis with setose posterior margin; carpus distally truncate; propodus palm with four major tubercles. Coxae 3–4 with serrate distal margins. Pereopods 5–7 bases narrowly expanded. Note. The tridentate telson was used as a diagnostic character of this species. It is now known to be a very common character state in leucothoids. Male (sexually dimorphic characters). Unknown. Habitat. Blue mud; 2011 m (reported as 1100 fthm). Host. Unknown. Distribution.
