Rocky/cobble intertidal, associated with sea anemones ( Anthozoa ). Remarks. De Grave (2007) recorded this species based on a single female from 9.4 m from Qatar . Several specimens from Qeshm I., collected during this investigation, confirm the occurrence of this widely distributed tropical species in the Persian Gulf.
