Recognition characters:
Gray species; length
10–12 mm
; mystax pale yellow; thorax light gray pollinose; scutellum gray pollinose; posterior margin of scutellum with long bristles; wings hyaline, faintly clouded apically; abdomen light gray pollinose; legs, femora black; tibiae and metatarsi red, remaining tarsal joints black with reddish tinge.
