reported it as tropicopolitan, very common in the tropics-subtropics of the old and new worlds. For

is found in Afrotropical, Australasian, Nearctic, Neotropical,
Oriental
and Palaearctic regions. So, it is reported as not present in Pacific Ocean islands or Antarctic region.
