Relation to host
: A vagrant on the lower leaf surface. No apparent damage was observed.
Remarks
: This new species is close to
C. bungeanus
Kuang
et al.
, 2005
by the shield design with median and admedian lines sub-parallel. This new species differs from
C. bungeanus
by the following characters: the shield design without ornamental dashed lines, and the 5-rayed empodium.
Etymology
: This new name means “typical” in reference to the prodorsal shield with typical design with median line and admedian lines.
