The text, in German, does not mention the substrate date or locality. In BM there was no material of Didymium excelsum Lister , only the type of D. intermedium Schroet. (BM 1770) from “Auf Lanb bei Blumenau, Estado e Sta. Catarina, April 1888 . E. Ule. Herbarium Brasiliense.” Notebook XX: 45 has some information but this notebook was missing.
