Cran at Lesmoir , Aberdeenshire , where it occurred on moss growing on the bark of Pyrus Aucuparia and also on the bark itself.” In BM there is one box ( BM 3025 ) with three fragments of material, each from a different place and date. We designate the fragment of the left bottom corner, (Lesmoir, 11.11, W . Cran) as the lectotype . The other fragments are from dates later than the publication.
