The data for
Ectobia livida
(
Frey-Gessner 1893
)
cited by
Nedelkov (1908)
as
Ectobia perspicillaris
Herbst
(=
livida
Fabr.
) and later referred to
Ectobius lapponicus
morpha
erythronota
by
Buresch & Peschev (1957)
, are assigned to
Ectobius erythronotus erythronotus
. Specimens corresponding to the records of
Ectobia laponica
L.
—
var.
pallidа
Selys
and
Ectobia panceri
Steph.
by
Drenski (1939)
were found in the NMNH collection and referred to
E. erythronotus erythronotus
.
Part of the material by Peshev (1962, 1964, 1974, 1975) and Peshev &
Mařan (1963)
reported as
E. vittiventris
was found in the collection of the NMNH and identified as
E. erythronotus
(as was already proposed by f
Buresch & Peschev 1957
, and later by
Popov & Chobanov 2004
for some of the material).
Distribution in
Bulgaria
