Remarks. – The Taiwanese specimens agree well with published accounts ( Galil, 2000 ; Ahyong & Brown, 2002). The inner and outer orbital margins are each armed with a single spine and the lateral margins of the carapace are armed as follows: 7-10:3:14-15. Distribution. – Worldwide, from the Indo-West Pacific, Eastern Pacific, Western and Eastern Atlantic, at depths between 347 and 2505 m . A new record for Taiwan .
