About 100 species were collected from Coleoptera ( Hunter 1993a ) . However, on the Passalidae they are found exceptionally. Dendrolaelaps passalorum ( Pearse and Wharton, 1936 ) was found on Odontotaenius disjunctus and Popilius sp. ( Delfinado and Baker 1975 ; Hunter 1993a ); and Dendrolaelaps sp. and Digamasellus sp. were found on O. zodiacus and O . striatopunctatus ( Barrios-Torres and Villegas-Guzmán 2015 ) ( Tables 2 , 4 and 8 ).
