Titova legit . Distribution. Russia (S RFE: SW Sakhalin , S Kurils—Kunashir, S Khabarovskii Krai, S Amurskaya Oblast, Primorskii Krai), Japan ( Hokkaido , Honshu, Shikoku, Kyushu), North Korea , South Korea , mainland China (NE, N, SW, Western Plateau), NE India . Remarks. The finding of L. denigrata in Sakhalin significantly expands its distribution range to the northeast. In Japan the larvae feed on Prunus subgen. Cerasus ( Rosaceae ), of which only Prunus sachalinensis is natural for SW Sakhalin. The erroneous reference of L. denigrata for Mongolia ( Inoue 1977 ; Choi 2012 ; Enkhtur et al. 2020 ; and others) goes back to Prout (1938: 181), who indicated it, among other places, from “Kalgan, Mongolia ”, which is currently Zhangjiakou, Hebei , China .
