Eugenia luschnathiana (O.Berg) Klotsch ex Jackson (1893: 908) [ Fig. 2K ; Fig 5H ] Endemic to the Atlantic Forest in the Northeast region of Brazil ( Sobral et al. 2009 , Govaerts et al. 2010 ) and distributed in the States of Bahia , Ceará ( Sobral et al. 2010 ), Rio Grande do Norte ( Silva 2009 ) and Pernambuco . Trees and shrubs 2–8 m tall, leaves 5.5–10.5 × 2–4 cm , midvein sulcate on adaxial lamina surface, raceme ending in a vegetative stem, hypanthium and style base pilose, fruit globose or subglobose.
