The collections Glaziou 21174 and 21175 were identified by Glaziou as Myrcia longipes (O. Berg 1855 –1856: 55) Kiaerskou (1893: 90) , a recognized synonym of M. tomentosa ( Govaerts et al. 2020 ) .
