This species was first described from: El Potosí, Nuevo León ( Type locality), hosts: Microtus sp. and Peromyscus difficilis . The present work has a new host locality record in Queretaro : El Pemoche, Landa de Matamoros, and the new host record in Oryzomys chapmani huastecae and Peromyscus furvus , this is the second time that we have a record for the species. El Pemoche: 2 males , 17/4/1997 , ex Peromyscus furvus (197RAG); 2 females , ex Oryzomys chapmani huastecae (203RAG).
