Ecology.
As compared to
M. dendrobaena
, this species is even more restricted to agricultural land and grass- lands and heathlands and has not yet been encountered in the littoral zone, dunes or mountainous biotopes. In northwestern Europe, it has a similar ecological profile as
M. diadema
.
