Zaphyllonotum = Zaphyllonotum Caudell, 1909 (type species Choriphyllum foliatum Hancock = Phyllotettix foliatus ). Type species. Acrydium compressum Thunberg, 1815 (= Phyllotettix compressus ). Composition and distribution (Figs 1 , 2 ). Four species are assigned to two subgenera, each with two species. The nominotypical genus includes P. (P.) compressus and P. (P.) foliatus , while the Phyllotettix Rhombotettix subgen. nov. includes P. (R.) plagiatus comb. nov. and P. (R.) rhombeus . All species are endemic to Jamaica. Diagnosis (Figs 1 , 3 ). The anterior margin of the pronotum is undulated (smooth in Choriphyllum ). The capital sinus is short, shallow and wide. The highest point of the pronotum is behind the middle (before the middle or in the middle in Choriphyllum ). Apex of the pronotum oblique or sharp (strongly truncated in Choriphyllum ).
