The most common Pennsylvania species is Leuctra ferruginea (Walker) . Adult L. duplicata Claassen , L. sibleyi Claassen , L. tenuis (Pictet) , and Paraleuctra sara (Claassen) are also commonly collected in Pennsylvania . Most of the Pennsylvania species are acid tolerant ( Earle 2004b ).
