Nymphs are rarely collected, and when present, usually only one or two individuals are found at any one site. Only one adult record from Pennsylvania exists ( Masteller 1996 ). The most nymphs collected in Pennsylvania were from Babb Creek , Tioga County , which has been affected by abandoned coal mine discharges and has a pH of 5.0 and slightly elevated dissolved aluminum ( Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection , unpublished data). New records: SUSQUEHANNA: (S) Nick Creek, Auburn Township, 23 June 2000 , one nymph (TS); unnamed tributary to Choconut Creek, near outlet of Lake Sophia, 21 June 2000 , one nymph (SRBC).
