Comments
. Species similar to
S. manaos
, as mentioned before, but differs from it by the vein R2+3 slightly bent to Costa, hind femur completely brown and features of male terminalia.
Until now the male of
S. repletus
was unknown.
Ale-Rocha & Vieira (2008)
described
S. hispidus
based on males and females. The examination of female specimens of
S. repletus
and female specimens of the
type
series of
S. hispidus
revealed that they were very similar, lacking significant characters to distinguish them. Therefore, the synonymy is being established, and consequently the male of
S. repletus
is considered as described under
S. hispidus
in
Ale-Rocha & Vieira (2008)
.
