Diagnostic characters
: The imagines differ from the only other known species,
R..
longirostris
, by having labellae 0.500.56 times as long as the wing, several
setae
on postcubitus, and fewer prealars.

Total length 2.602.98 mm. Wing length 1.702.10, 1.88 mm long. Total length/wing length 1.511.60. Wing length/length of profemur 2.322.43. Thorax, head and legs dark brown; abdomen dark with posterior 1/4 more pale.

R. culicinus
