Kerguelen (in Lejeunia , n.s., 75: 171, 173-174. 1975) provided a confused type statement "Type: 'Habitat in Europae pratis siccus' (LINN, holo) 'SCHEUCHZ, 285 '" , and informally rejected the name as ambiguous. However, no formal proposal was made.
