Jadin and P.H. Vercammen-Grandjean. Additional material examined — 2 larvae ( IRSNB ) from Desmodillus auricularis (Smith) ( Rodentia : Muridae ) No. 489.96, SW Africa (probably, Namibia ), Kaokoveld, unknown locality, 28 Sep. 1911 , mites collected by A. Fain. Remarks — This species was known only from its holotype . Here it is recorded outside the type locality and on Desmodillus auricularis for the first time.
