Diagnostic characters
: The male imago can be separated from other members of the genus by having bare wing membrane; setose squama; costa moderately extended; acrostichals starting in front, all scalpellate; moderately long
virga
; anal point long, nearly parallelsided near apex, with blunt apex and weak lateral

; and inferior volsella long, posterior directed and digitiform.
Etymology:
Named after the
